Cornwall Street Medical Centre has provided high quality, patient-centric care to our community for over a decade. During this time, we have offered bulk billing to most patients.
With the rising costs of operating an Accredited Medical Practice, without an increase to Medicare rebates, we need to adjust our billing policy to ensure we can provide our patients with continuity of care. Please refer to the below table for updated fee information.
Note, a large portion of consults will continue to be bulk billed, including children under the age of 16, pension card holders over the age of 65, GPMP plans, specific health assessments., and at the doctor’s discretion.
We appreciate your support and hope to communicate to these changes to all of our patients prior to their next appointment.
Bulk billing
Bulk billing applies to children under the age of 16, pension card holders over the age of 65, follow ups, results, care plans, specific health assessments, and at the doctor’s discretion. (Other fees apply for excisions and procedures)
Please note: bulk billing is not available out of hours or on Saturdays.
