At least 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime.
However, if found early, skin cancer can be highly treatable and curable. This is why skin checks are so important.
An annual skin check is recommended for all adults living in Queensland to help with early detection and management.
Meet Dr Taz
Dr Tarsem Madhar is the lead GP at Cornwall Street Medical Centre’s Skin Cancer Clinic.
He holds a special interest in Skin Cancer Care and has completed Advanced Certificates in Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Taz offers skin cancer services to patients, and is skilled in performing full body skin checks as well as both diagnostic and management procedures.
